Hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe. Did any of you expect that early 2020 would come with a pandemic in the first few months of the year? I sure didn’t, but it’s not surprising either. Believe it or not, watching so many movies and TV series about zombie apocalypses and playing video games like The Division, Resident Evil, and others about worldwide virus contaminations make you numb to the news on TV. Well, what do you expect? It’s like we are predicting our future, and you can watch and play it every day. Strangely, we are being prepared to get used to this type of situation. Now that’s some scary thoughts.
2020 starts with a worldwide pandemic, and this is how Mother Earth protects itself from us, which we are destroying earth little by little. That’s the truth that’s the reality I know, but there is another side of me that knows that we humans like to play with bioengineering and biochemistry. We humans like to play with some dangerous things. That’s a scientific fact and playing with pathogens has and will continue to be one of the many favorite dangerous toys. Saying all this might be too realistic for some sensitive people. Hey, look at it this way we are going through a crisis. First I will tell you 2 bad of Convid-19 that are real.
- Fear
Why fear well, countries are afraid of not being able to contain it, the market crashing and an economic crisis. Companies not making money, People are afraid of getting infected, food, and necessity shortage. Simple a short!
2. Death
Yes, it kills what’s worse than that? is highly contagious. ” The new coronavirus is a respiratory virus which spreads primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. To protect yourself, clean your hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. ”
Now, what can possibly be good about Coronavirus? is what you must be thinking! A pessimist will always find something negative about any situation or a thing. An optimist will try to see or find the positive about everything, adding a realistic person’s opinion then you might get a painful truth like the ones you are about to read,3 goods things about this crisis.
I will start with the one that I will always be happy about .and thanks to the mandatory quarantine, I get to enjoy it even more.
1. Staying indoors
Why do staying indoor is a good thing. First, obviously, to stay safe and minimizing the chance of getting infected, it’s for your own good. Then if spending time with your family is not reason enough!. Be glad some don’t have the chance or privilege nor even can afford to stay home. Some are either risking themselves, helping others, or just trying to keep their families fed. For others is mandatory to work in times of crisis like this one.
2. Only affects Humans
Yes, this is ironically a good thing for all animal lovers. The CDC hasn’t found any cases of animal deaths because of the virus ” At this time, there is no evidence that companion animals, including pets, can spread COVID-19 or that they might be a source of infection in the United States. CDC has not received any reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with COVID-19. Further studies are needed to understand if and how different animals could be affected by COVID-19. “So, for now, your pets are safe but you are not.
3. Some Will Always Benefit
Good or bad, benefits always come in any situation depending on how you look at things. for example. Wars many will suffer but some will always benefit from it and If you think,” who could possibly benefit from a pandemic?”. Well, my friend all I can say is that either you have a really good heart, a really optimistic person, or you are very naive. Especially if you live in a capitalist country or any country with ambitious and opportunistic greedy people.
